Over the past five years, Indonesia has made significant strides in promoting restorative actions and sustainable living initiatives. These efforts are highlighted by the integration of low-carbon and green growth strategies into the country’s national development plans.

However, the awareness and participation in impact investment and impact funding is still under development and many Indonesian impact drivers (profit driven impact organizations) have little or no access to impact enablers (collaborative networks, investors).

Yayasan Bamboo Lingkungan Lestari, better known as Environmental Bamboo Foundation (EBF) believes that a connection and investment-based platform would serve the need for a deep understanding of Indonesian impact-driven initiatives by highlighting them and by giving them a stage to meet investors who can help scale their impact.

Impact Investment Day is an event in conjunction with Indonesia International Sustainability Forum that aims to 1) amplify restoration and sustainable living initiatives and 2) connect impact drivers with impact enablers.

Objectives

With the upcoming ISF 2024, EBF and KADIN BPEK are joining forces to showcase and connect restoration and sustainability ventures and initiatives in Indonesia, particularly in the outermost and frontier areas, with Impact Investment Day.

Impact Investment Day (IID) is a series of events organized by Environmental Bamboo Foundation (EBF) in collaboration with KADIN BPEK with the purpose of giving sustainability and restoration impact drivers a platform and opportunity to connect with impact enablers. IID also aims to provide impact drivers with knowledge tools to convey and disseminate their programs effectively.
